I'm gonna go jump off a building

The folks over at Heart of Florida United Way are hosting an event called “Over The Edge” on Saturday, May 11 that involves making people jump off the side of the Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center.

And I was invited to participate. Cue foreboding music.

The event is part of a fundraiser for military veterans and their families.

“Edgers,” the unfortunately semi-sexual name for fundraiser participants, must raise a minimum of $1,000 to rappel off the building.

You must be between 100 to 300 pounds to safely participate in the event. So, no more burritos for me this month.
