This is a lot of “me” content but where else can you hear all about what I’m up to without reading my Google calendar?

MY HATS IN A BLOOMINGDALE'S FASHION SHOW

MY HATS IN A BLOOMINGDALE'S FASHION SHOW

My pal Janessa Gursky is a creative power house that curates people like you would an art show; carefully and with intention. So the fact that I’m considered her friend is always a real shot for my self-esteem, as I kind of think she’s a fucking unicorn. A witchy, matte black unicorn with fire for hooves.

Janessa introduced me to her friend Tammara Kohler who was working with Bloomingdale’s on a fashion show inspired by the mind blowingly fantastic Nick Cave at the Orlando Museum of Art because she was looking for some crazy head pieces to compliment the look.

All she had to say was Nick Cave-inspired head pieces and I was in.

I made about 20 different pieces and roughly 10 made them into the show but I couldn’t have been any happier with how it all turned out.

The main photo above features my favorite piece which was made using a welder’s helmet, a lamp shade, and paintbrushes that I got from Anthropologie’s set people.
