I can't stop making robots sing my poems
I’ve been spending time with SUNO, and I absolutely love it. There’s something magical about watching stray concepts and half-formed daydreams turn into actual music you can listen to. It feels like sketching a thought and suddenly hearing it come alive: melodies, textures, moods you didn’t even realize you were reaching for.
Tools like this make the creative process playful again, a reminder that making art doesn’t always have to be heavy or complicated. Sometimes it can just be fun to hear what your imagination sounds like when it gets a soundtrack.
I’ve secretly been writing lyrics and poems for years, and just sitting on them. But with the magical SUNO singing fairies, I can plop them in, and play with the edits to create something - I think - is really special! I recently did a little deep dive over the weekend to give birth to a playlist of songs based on the legend of Orpheus and Eurydice - which I always felt should be a musical! And now it is! At least for me. I’ve been singing it to myself for days.
